Bastianello carpentry is a family-run business founded in 1958 by Flaminio Bastianello as a workshop for the construction of furniture and furnishings of various types, restoration of antique furniture, maintenance and realization of external frames and internal doors.
The tradition of handcrafted furniture
As tradition of handcraft requires, the company continues the construction of custom-made furniture with the use of top-quality materials.
In addition, other services are available: ordinary maintenance of external window frames with the regeneration of both shutters and windows, and construction or adjustment of pergolas of any type.
We also provide ordinary maintenance on interior furnishings, lacquering and shabby treatments on existing furniture, and installation of new appliances.
Expertise
Over the years, different works were carried out on custom-made and original-designed furniture such as external doors, including the church of San Tommaso in Albignasego, and many private houses, as well as the cenacle, lectern and armchairs in Montagnana Cathedral, and the restoration of the antique benches in the Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo, the historical seat of University of Padua.
Other works include custom-made boiseries and modern or classic style furnishing for private houses, as well as woodworm-proofing and shellac polishing by buffing to resume the tradition of hand polishing.
